Reminds me of the Dot Com days. But the Fed is in a tightening phase because it has a DUAL Mandate of low inflation and low unemployment. So far good? The Fed is holding short term rates at 5.25-5.50 Percent Fed Funds range. So? Not catastrophic. Look at the Paul Volcker days if you want to see high rates. Or look at Argentina or Russia NOW. But historically rates were above Zero. Good for saving and good for supporting prudent borrowing, but not low enough to induce Speculative Mania. And for decades the Standard for Full Employment was 5.0 Percent Unemployment. So unemployment recently ticked up from 4.1 to 4.3 Percent. And the Market had a "Meltdown"? No, it had a two day knee-jerk reaction. Did I sell anything? No. My portfolio is exactly the same. Because I don't see the Fed doing Wrong. I see that the Fed Funds rate is working. It's gradually slowing down the economy as shown in the slow and steady small upticks in unemployment and the slow and steady decrease in Inflation. No Melt down. We are heading for a SOFT LANDING and don't let the Fear Mongers tell you any lies. Don't listen to the Pump and Dump Crowd. Don't listen to your Commission Based Broker. Read and think. Use your head and study the Market. Maybe just a little?

I do favor Prosperity over Wealth. Let me give an example. Which country is the stronger and better country. Country A which has 500 Billionaires and 20 thousand Millionaires. or Country B which has NO Billionaires and 200 million Millionaires? Why do I ask? Because I am not a fan of the dominance of the Elite Extreme Wealth White Guy. I prefer a broad base of many, many successful people that have a good standard of living and enjoy a "healthy" level of prosperity.
